I'm a BAFTA winning Executive Producer, Managing Director and commercial leader with more than 30 years across the creative industries. My career has always combined hands on production credibility with the commercial and operational leadership needed to build, scale and lead creative businesses.
Over 13 years at LS Productions I progressed through Senior Producer, Head of Production and Executive Producer into the role of Managing Director and Executive Producer, helping transform a Scotland based production service into an internationally recognised production and content partner. I scaled teams, opened new markets, won and grew relationships with global brands and agencies, and led the business through significant periods of growth and change.
I've executive produced award winning work for some of the world's most demanding brands, delivering complex international productions across advertising, music videos, branded entertainment and television. Alongside the creative work I've run the operations, financials, systems and processes behind it, driven business development and new business, built long term client relationships and international partnerships, and shaped the culture and senior teams that hold it all together. In 2022 I helped spearhead the move into original content with the launch of LS Films.
Earlier in my career I produced BAFTA winning film work as an independent producer, and built strong operational foundations through senior facilities and operations roles, laying the groundwork that continues to shape my operator's approach to leadership today.
I'm known for a calm leadership style, sharp commercial instinct and a genuine operator's mindset. I'm equally comfortable executive producing a global campaign, pitching for new business or leading a senior team through change.
Alongside my commercial work I remain passionate about widening access into the creative industries, an interest rooted in earlier work teaching filmmaking in care settings and youth prisons.
Through Sarah Drummond Advisory I now work with a small number of founders, creative businesses, production companies and leadership teams on commercial growth, new business, partnerships, change and the leadership around the business.
Alongside my advisory work, I remain interested in the right long-term executive leadership opportunity within an ambitious creative or brand-led business.
